Beijing: Specific business arrangements including technology exports must be reviewed by the Chinese government, China's commerce ministry said on Wednesday, in reference to US President Donald Trump's 75-day extension of the TikTok sale deadline.

China "opposes practices that ignore the laws of the market economy, plunder by force, and damage the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises," a ministry spokesperson said.

The country respects equal, voluntary and fair business acts among firms, the spokesperson said.
