City to get its first jewellery mall soon

  On July4, 2010 it will open a four storey showroom on MG Road in the same building where Bombay Store used to be located earlier. Spread across a built up area of about 40,000 sq.ft. Joyalukkas Jewllery Bangalore will be the group’s 80th shop. “We are entering Karnataka with biggest jewellery showroom and it is our second largest. Besides locational advantage, it will offer wide range of collection in both branded and non-branded jewellery,” Joyalukkas Regional Marketing In-charge Sooraj Parameswaran said. 

Asked about pricing and competition, he said “although we are entering Karnataka for the first time, we do not see any competition to match our sales practices. Our strength is in offering good and hallmarked gold at affordable price with consummate customer experience.”

The new showroom will offer more than 100 designs in gold, diamond and other valuable metal. While ground floor is exclusively dedicated for ethnic collections, the first floor will have wide variety of branded jewellery and second offers bridal diamond jewllery sets. The third floor will be dedicated for exclusive branded watches, company officials said. 

In addition, Joyalukkas Jewellers will provide parking facility for 200 cars at a time. Going forward the company see a huge potential in Karnataka for jewellery business and is planning to open two more showroom in Mangalore and Mysore by December-end.
