Bengaluru: Ola Electric on Friday said it was “not aware” of the shutting of its unlicensed stores in Maharashtra, in response to media reports pointing to such closures.
“We wish to submit that we are not aware of any such negotiations/events regarding a notice from the authorities ordering immediate closure of over a 100 showrooms in Maharashtra,” the firm said in a regulatory filing.
In a previous filing made last month, the EV maker said it had received notices in four states pertaining to trade certificates for certain stores located in those states. It reiterated this in Friday’s filing, insisting that it was not aware of any development that has not been notified to the exchanges.
