The deal will involve TCS looking at planning, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and annual maintenance of 4G mobile network at 18,685 sites of BSNL.

“Detailed purchase orders will be issued by BSNL to the company in due course subject to fulfilment of certain conditions and documentation as mentioned in the APO,” the company added.

It may be remembered that TCS signed a Rs 15,000 crore deal with BSNL for establishing data centres and 4G sites last year in June. However, this deal is 70% complete, TCS’ Chief Executive Officer K Krithivasan said during an earnings call earlier this year.
