IT company Crayon Software Experts India, the subsidiary of Crayon Software Experts, is planning to invest $5 million in the next 2-3 years, according to a company executive.
“We have invested close to $5 million so far and are planning to invest around the same amount ($5 million) in the next 2-3 years,” Crayon global group holding Chief Executive Officer Torgrim Takle told Deccan Herald.
Crayon is the global leader in software asset management (SAM), cloud and volume licensing and associated consulting services and is the trusted advisors to many of the global leading organisations including Microsoft.
Crayon Software Experts had entered the Indian market by acquiring a majority stake in Chennai-based Kryptos Networks.
According to Takle, the company is looking at expanding its base of employees as well as customers in India, besides eyeing acquisitions.
“We started with 20 employees and now have close to 70 within one and half year of operations. Our plan is to double that within the next 16-20 months,” Takle said.
“We will keep evaluating inorganic growth opportunities, companies which have boutique shops with capabilities relevant to the Indian markets,” Takle said, adding that the company is confident of nearly doubling its customer base over the next one year.
