Hyderabad: IKP Knowledge Park (IKP), a leading science park and innovation ecosystem enabler, has appointed Dr Satya Prakash Dash as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
IKP, a 200-acre science park and incubator with facilities in Hyderabad and Bengaluru, is India’s first wet-lab research park established to foster a world-class environment for cutting-edge innovation.
Dr Dash brings over 28 years of leadership experience in science, innovation, strategy, and ecosystem development. Before joining IKP, he served as President – Strategy at Bigtec, the R&D arm of Molbio Diagnostics, one of India’s leading in vitro diagnostics (IVD) companies.
In 2024, Dr Dash played a pivotal role in establishing EDGE, a pioneering med-tech corporate partnership programme by Molbio Diagnostics and Bigtec, designed to support startups in their scale-up journey.
He also serves as a Senior Advisor to Blockchain for Impact (BFI), a first-of-its-kind biomedical research foundation in India, and as a Board Member of Venture Center, India’s leading science and technology-based incubator in Pune and as Strategy counsel of DoTo Health.

Previously, Dr Dash was the Founding Head – Strategy, Partnerships, and Entrepreneurship Development at BIRAC (India’s nodal biotechnology funding agency), where he contributed to building a bio-innovation architecture for India designing more than 25 national programs that have supported 5000 biotech startups.
