Speaking to Deccan Herald on the sidelines of an architect meet in City, Everest Steel Building Solutions President Manish Garg said “pre-engineered steel buildings are the new form of construction and Everest pre-engineered steel buildings are the fastest systems of industrial construction today.” In India, at present, only 27 per cent of all industrial and institutional buildings use pre-engineered buildings, while in the US, more than 70 per cent of all construction in industrial and institutional segments is done using pre-engineered buildings, he said.
Everest pre-engineered buildings are custom-designed and factory-built and can be erected in half the time with minimal on-site work, he claimed. Everest pre-engineered steel building solutions promises to install a factory building in only 33 per cent of the time that it normally takes to construct a conventional building. With an investment of Rs 45 crore, the company has set a new manufacturing plant at Balasore, besides Kymore, Kolkota, Coimbatore, Nashik, Roorkee. The plant manufactures roofing sheets, cement boards, pre-engineered steel buildings.
