The dashboard would provide information such as the number of impressions on the listing and search trends pertaining to the business category which may make owners to optimise their listings.
By merely providing their name, contact details and phone numbers, businesses registering with LBC can find their listings come up when users search for information on a particular product or service category. They would also find their business shown in Google Maps.
As for monetisation, Google India Product Manager Manik Gupta, said services like LBC would be provided for free, while using them to improve advertisement revenue.
