Wealth in India is not equally distributed. Over 70 per cent of millionaire households, with a net worth of over Rs 10 crore, are found in just 10 states, according to the novel Hurun India Wealth Report 2020. The country's wealth is mostly concentrated in states like Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Gujarat. Even in these states, wealth is concentrated in a few cities. For instance, three Maharashtrian cities are among the top bracket, followed by two cities of Gujarat.Here are the top 10 cities home to most millionaires:
