Leading telecom company Indus Towers on Thursday announced that it will provide telephony network across Tamil Nadu by connecting over 79.3 million wireless subscribers across Indus Towers’ second largest telecom circle.

With more than 13,100 towers and over 28,700 tenancies in Tamil Nadu, comprising
2,800 towers and 6,500 tenancies in Chennai, Indus now offers its users continuous and uninterrupted connectivity across the state.

According to Indus Towers, Tamil Nadu Circle CEO A Siva Prakash Rao, with the new measure, the company enables communication for over 97 per cent of the total addressable population of the state, and employs 4,000 people (directly and indirectly) in the state.
