This, along with two others launched simultaneously in Garuda and Forum Mall in the City, is the first of its kind D-SLR camera zone in South India. The store was inaugurated by Nikon Hong Kong GM Marketing Kimito Uemura in the presence of Nikon India MD Hidehiko Tanaka.
Addressing the media at the launch Uemura said, “South India contributes to 28 per cent of the market for digital cameras in the country, so it is an important market for us. So, with the launch of the D-SLR camera zone, we are also offering service facilities.”
The D-SLR zone showcases the entire range of D-SLR cameras, NIKKOR lenses and a range of CCOOLPIX compact cameras. The digital cameras are priced in the range of Rs 7,450 to Rs 5 lakhs.
