Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing tech professionals on Wednesday in a townhall session, through video conferencing.

Prime Minister Modi will be delivering a keynote address, followed by an interactive session with the IT professionals at 3:30 pm. The IT professionals will be connected from 12 to 15 interactive sites and 490 broadcasting stations across the country.

The interaction is aimed at promoting the concerted efforts across the IT players that is expected to bring greater efficiency in the scale and scope of socially oriented activities.

From Bengaluru, IT professionals from Infosys and Cisco will be interacting with the Prime Minister, from their respective offices in Electronic City and Marathahalli, respectively.

The interaction of the tech professionals comes at a time when India’s IT space is seeing a shift to new and emerging technologies, with single digit increments for the employees in the traditional IT services.
