Briefing reporters TKM Deputy Managing Director (Marketing) Sandeep Singh said “Bangalore is a strategic market for SUVs, and the company was looking at selling at least 12-13 units per annum here. At the Delhi Auto Show, Singh said the company will showcase 14 models including hybrids and the compact car (concept) that will soon be launched in the Indian market.

About bringing Prius into the Indian market, he said, that the company will not go back on its decision of selling it here and it will happen soon.
He conceded Toyota was in talks with the Centre for some subsidies on the hybrid car, as it believes that pricing will be a problem otherwise.
