Vistara, the joint venture of Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, on Friday started its operations to Goa with a flight from Delhi.

“We are now flying from Delhi to Goa! Reason enough to plan your next holiday with us? #VistaraDestination,” the airline tweeted.

The inaugural flight took from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International airport at 11.20 am and landed at Dabolim Airport in Goa at 1.50 pm.

“We were eager to extend our unmatched service excellence to a wider customer base on their favourite routes and preferred destinations. It is fitting that the most popular leisure destination — Goa — is our next natural choice,” a statement said, adding that Vistara is ramping up fast and is set to expand its footprint to newer routes.
