Meet Girish Aachar, a Class 9 dropout turned environmental hero, who is on a mission to protect the forests of the Western Ghats. Despite threats, fake cases, and even pressure from his own family, Girish has stood firm in his fight against illegal encroachment of forest lands. His relentless effort has already helped the government reclaim 3 lakh acres of forest land, and he’s not stopping there.
Girish is on a mission to save another 6 lakh acres of forest land from encroachment. He believes in repaying the debt we owe to the environment, inspired by the Constitution’s emphasis on both rights and duties.
