Union minister Amit Shah has asked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and workers in Maharashtra to resolve internal differences ahead of the crucial assembly elections in the state.
An organisation where workers function in different directions never succeeds, BJP sources quoted Shah as telling a party gathering in Mumbai on Tuesday.
A case has been registered against 30 residents of Ukhra village here in connection with an alleged attack on two revenue officials, police said on Tuesday.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, while campaigning in Haryana, had food with a rural family after making a brief halt at a village in Sonipat district.

Ahead of the Maharashtra assembly elections, state Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar met Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah here on Wednesday.
What transpired in the meeting was not yet known.
The meeting comes against the backdrop of differences in the ruling Mahayuti alliance over the presence of Ajit Pawar-led NCP and his party's opposition to the anti-Muslim tirade by some BJP leaders.
Leaders of the Shiv Sena, which is led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, have also been critical of the NCP.

Senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad on Wednesday said the people of Haryana have to make a choice between the BJP's development-oriented ten years versus scams and corruption which prevailed during the previous Congress dispensation.
Prasad, who was speaking to reporters in Rohtak, also made a sharp attack on the Congress on various fronts.
Referring to the Congress' Haryana unit, he said, "Here Congress has become Hooda Congress. Even Rahul Gandhi has to come here with permission. I am told he (Gandhi) had some desire for an alliance (with AAP), but Hooda refused so it did not happen."
Addressing a public rally in Kurukshetra, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said, "...When our Jawans execute surgical strike and airstrike, the Congress people raise questions on it. They are raising questions about the Army jawans of the country. With the surgical strike and airstrike, our army has proven that India has the potential to attack on this side of the border, and if needed, it can also attack on that side of the border..."
Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor is all set to launch his political party in Bihar.
Addressing a rally before the offical launch, he said, "..You all need to say 'Jai Bihar' so loud that no one calls you and your children 'Bihari' and it feels like an abuse. Your voice must reach Delhi. It must reach Bengal where students from Bihar were beaten. It must reach Tamil Nadu, Delhi, and Bombay wherever Bihari children were abused and beaten..."
