“We are going to contest Bihar polls solo. I.N.D.I.A. bloc was only for the Lok Sabha elections and there is no alliance with the Congress from our end," the former Delhi chief minister said during a press conference here in Ahmedabad.

"If there was an alliance with the Congress then why did the party contest in Visavadar bypolls? They came to defeat us. BJP sent Congress to defeat us and cut the votes,” Kejriwal said while responding to reporters.

The AAP supremo was in Gujarat on a three-day visit to launch his party's membership drive in the state, aiming for 2027 assembly elections.

Following the decisive victory in the Visavadar bye-election, Kejriwal on Wednesday launched a statewide membership drive in Ahmedabad.

Addressing party workers at the launch, he had attacked Congress for being "hand-in-glove with the BJP" and claimed that AAP is emerging as an alternative to Congress and the BJP.
