The portfolio allocations for BJP ministers in Bihar was announced on Friday, November 21, a day after the Nitish Kumar led cabinet took oath. The portfolio of the much-talked about Home Ministry was allocated to BJP leader Samrat Choudhary. This marks a change from the previous terms of the NDA government when the Home portfolio was held by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar itself.
BJP leader Vijay Kumar Sinha, who has been selected as the deputy leader of legislative party, has been given the Land and Revenue department.

Mangal Pandey - Health and Law Ministry
Dilip Jaiswal - Industries Ministry
Nitin Nabin - Road Construction and Urban Development Ministry
Ramkripal Yadav - Agriculture Minister
Sanjay Tiger - Labour Resources
Arun Shankar Prasad - Tourism, Arts, Culture and Youth Affairs Ministry
Surendra Mehta - Animal and Fisheries Resources Ministry
Narayan Prasad - Disaster Management Department
Ram Nishad - Backward and Extremely Backward Class Welfare Department
Lakhedar Paswan - Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department
Shreyasi Singh - Information Technology and Sports Departments.
