
RJD spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari told that no matter what the speculation is Nitish Kumar’s government is going to exit, and the Mahagathbandhan will form the government. He further stated that Nitish Kumar’s government is there for only a few hours now -and their exit is certain.
The 2025 Bihar Assembly elections will go down into the annals of history as the one where no re-poll was ordered even in one booth in the state.
Bihar has in the past always hogged the limelight for its controversial elections, marred by violence and re-polling. And it has always been a challenging task for the Election Commission (EC) to conduct a peaceful poll in this part of the cow-belt.

And it has reasons to be upbeat about the JD(U) strongman Nitish Kumar who appeared “weak and ill” prior to polls but showed amazing resilience as the elections progressed.
“These exit polls, which have given a clear edge to the NDA and ruled out formation of Government by the Mahagatbandhan, came out even when the last vote had not been cast. These surveys are carried out just to bring pressure on officials involved in the election process,” said Tejashwi adding “We are sure we will sweep the poll on November 14 and form the Government on November 18.”
Women outnumbered men by 14 per cent or more in voter turnout in seven districts of Bihar, where assembly elections were recently held, as per the Election Commission.
In 10 other districts, the polling percentage among women was over 10 per cent more than men.
Patna, however, was the only district in the state to have recorded more turnout of men than women. (PTI)
Leaders across the political spectrum of Bihar on Thursday held hectic parleys and reviewed last-minute preparations as the state was readying for the counting of votes polled in the recently held high-stakes assembly polls that will decide whether Nitish Kumar, the longest-serving chief minister, will get a record fifth term.
