New Delhi: Three more predictions on Delhi Assembly elections by survey agencies released on Thursday gave BJP a decisive victory while relegating AAP to a distant second.
The exit polls and post-poll surveys by CNX, Axis My India and Today's Chanakya predicted that BJP would win 45 to 61 seats. On Wednesday, eight out of 16 exit polls predicted BJP would win comfortably while AAP was ahead in four such polls.
In the CNX survey, BJP is predicted to win 49-61 seats while AAP is likely to bag 10-19 seats and Congress 0-1. Axis My India gave BJP 45-55 seats, Congress 15-25 and Congress 0-1.
Today’s Chanakya predicted BJP to bag 51 (+/-6) seats while it gave AAP 19 (+/-6) and Congress 0-3 seats.
Poll predictions had gone wrong in the past, as one saw in the Lok Sabha elections. Many of them had predicted over 300 seats for the BJP, which got 240, and over 350 for the NDA when it managed only 293.

Delhi Assembly Election 2025 | The first of two state assembly polls this year sees a three-way contest between AAP, Congress, and BJP in the nation's capital. AAP decided to contest the polls alone, causing rumours of a rift in I.N.D.I.A. BJP, meanwhile, is hoping the liquor excise policy scam and pollution in Delhi will give the saffron party an edge over AAP. Kejriwal, on the other hand, has different plans with his demand for reservations for Delhi Jats. Congress will also be looking to make its presence felt and has not held back from attacking its own alliance partner.
