Chaudhary Brahm Prakash had the distinction of not only being the first chief minister of Delhi, but also its youngest one to date.
Prakash was given the honour of becoming the CM of Delhi when he was just 34.
Prakash was an activist during the independence movement and reportedly played a significant role in leading the 'underground' activities in Delhi during the Quit India movement.
Chaudhary Brahm Prakash's tenure as Delhi CM lasted only for three years.
He passed away in 1993, the year when Delhi elections were again held after a gap of close to 40 years.
