Delhi Assembly Election exit polls 2015

Arvind Kejriwal's AAP had claimed a impressive victory winning 67 of the 70 seats in 2015. The BJP could gain only three seats, while Congress remained empty handed.

Although most of the exit polls had declared AAP's victory with good margin, the party had performed much better than what was predicted and BJP's score was much lower than the predictions.

News Nation predicted 41-45 seats for AAP, 23-27 seats for BJP; Axis predicted 53 seats for AAP, 17 for BJP; India TV-C Voter predicted 35-43 seats for AAP, 25-33 seats for BJP, India Today predicted 38-46 seats for AAP, 19-27 for BJP; Todays Chanakya predicted 48 seats for AAP, 22 for BJP, ABP predicted 43 seats for AAP, 26 seats for BJP

The scenario was almost similar as far as 2020 exit polls were concerned as most of them had declared a clear majority for AAP, but again the party did better than the predictions. AAP won 62 of the 70 seats, while not many of the pollsters predicted Kejriwal's party to cross the 60 mark. However, BJP saw a jump in its tally as it won eight seats.

Delhi Assembly Election 2025 | The first of two state assembly polls this year sees a three-way contest between AAP, Congress, and BJP in the nation's capital. AAP decided to contest the polls alone, causing rumours of a rift in I.N.D.I.A. BJP, meanwhile, is hoping the liquor excise policy scam and pollution in Delhi will give the saffron party an edge over AAP. Kejriwal, on the other hand, has different plans with his demand for reservations for Delhi Jats. Congress will also be looking to make its presence felt and has not held back from attacking its own alliance partner.
