Ashoka, interacting with journalists after the meeting, affirmed that the BJP and JD(S) would work together to seek answers from the government on a range of issues. “We will hold a co-ordination meeting with the JD(S) on August 10 to come up with a joint plan,” he added.

“Among issues we will raise include the stampede at Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru that left 11 dead. We will also question the decision to divide Bengaluru into 5 administrative units,” he said.
