The NCP on Friday took a jibe at Union Home Minister and BJP national president Amit Shah saying that the "Chanakya" of Indian politics has been outwitted.
NCP chief spokesperson Nawab Malik said that “finally, Sharad Pawar has outsmarted” the alleged "Chanakya" of Indian politics, as the three parties—NCP, Congress and Shiv Sena— appeared set to stake claim to form Maharashtra government.
"The throne of Delhi failed to make Maharashtra bend before it... Jai Maharashtra!," Malik said without naming Shah.
