Six years after its founding and fighting two elections by itself, actor Kamal Haasan's Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) on Saturday joined the ruling DMK-led alliance in Tamil Nadu and extended its support to the bloc for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
