After the successful theatrical run of Aamir Khan's recent outing, Sitaare Zameen Par, a sequel to the 2007 superhit, Taare Zameen Par, the movie has taken an unconventional turn as the makers have decided to bring the entertainment to the comfort of audiences by releasing the film exclusively on YouTube. The movie will be made available at just Rs 100.
Making the official announcement, Aamir Khan shared a creatively shot video featuring himself along with his sons, Junaid and Azad. In the video, the father and son duo hilariously recreated scenes from Aamir's cult classic Andaz Apna Apna.
The promo announcing Sitaare Zameen Par’s YouTube release is finally out, and Aamir has given it a hilarious twist. Featuring producer-director Rajkumar Santoshi, the promo marks the first on-screen appearance of Aamir Khan and his son Junaid Khan together.
The father-son duo delivers a unique and entertaining announcement by recreating iconic moments from the cult classic Andaz Apna Apna. As the promo also features Aamir Khan's son Azad Khan, it's indeed an interesting thing, marking his first screen debut.
The promo has been conceptualized, produced, and executed by Fever Films. With its engaging and humorous tone, the promo serves as a perfect homage to the timeless comedy classic Andaz Apna Apna.
On collaborating with Aamir Khan, Vaibhav Bundhoo, director of Fever Films, said, “At Fever Films, an ad production house, the goal is to execute the best stories coming from creative agencies and brand clients. Directing this ad film was like a dream come true, as I got to work with the legend Aamir Khan while using a cult favourite reference from Andaz Apna Apna, & the product we are selling in the ad film is a story itself.”
Directed by RS Prasanna and written by Divy Nidhi Sharma, Sitaare Zameen Par stars Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh and introduces ten new faces.
On the work front, Aamir is busy producing Lahore 1947, starring Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta, and Ek Din, featuring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi, both under his banner, Aamir Khan Productions.
