Ajith Kumar, who was recently in New Delhi to accept the Padma Bhushan from President Droupadi Murmu on April 28, 2025, was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Chennai after his return.
Ajith Kumar suffered a high knee injury at the airport when a crowd of fans and media rushed towards him, with someone reportedly stepping on his leg. Feeling discomfort after reaching home, Ajith visited the hospital for a brief checkup.
Following his checkup, Ajith has been reportedly discharged after a few hours. Medical professionals have advised him to rest and some physiotherapy sessions for proper recovery.
The news of his admission came as a shock as fans as they were busy prepping up for his birthday tomorrow on May 1. An insider spilled the beans that there’s no reason to worry. AK is in good health, and the hospital visit was a precautionary measure. The actor is making sure to stay fit for his upcoming car races.
While there has been no official statement from Ajith’s side yet, fans can expect an announcement to be made soon.
On the professional front, Ajith was last seen on the silver screen in blockbuster Good Bad Ugly. At the Creventic Endurance Race held at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, Ajith Kumar secured an impressive 2nd place in the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup category.

Looking ahead, he will race in the Creventic Races at the Misano World Circuit on May 24, 2025, while also competing in the prestigious GT4 European Series, a leading platform for GT4 racing across legendary European tracks.
