Another actor's daughter to make Bollywood debut

Megha quit her job in fashion industry to take up acting as a career, said, "It is kind of mixed feelings... I am both happy and scared. At the same time, I am excited and nervous."

"Though it was not a struggle exactly, it was not a cake walk too either," Megha, who is gearing up for her first Hindi release, after a Bengali movie in 2007, said.

The debutante said her parents were a bit sceptical about her 'cinematic plunge' and wanted her to complete education first.

"But the acting bug had bitten me for good. After all it was in my blood. After a bit of coaxing and cajoling from the director of the movie, I decided to be an actor," Megha, who plays Samira in 'Ruslan', said.

Directed by Mohan Sharma, the film is about of an eponymous protagonist played by newcomer Rajveer Sharma and is set in the backdrop of 7/11 serial blasts in Mumbai trains.

The movie, which deals with police atrocities on a particular section of youth had to deal with after the incident, is set to hit the theaters on September 11.
