Filmmaker Atlee is all set to begin his next, and it is not with Salman Khan but with Pushpa fame Allu Arjun. Earlier, reports were doing the rounds that after Jawan with SRK, Atlee will make another big-budgeted Bollywood movie with Salman Khan. It was further reported that Sun Pictures, a big banner from Tamil Cinema, has shown interest in producing the film. However, the project has now been put on hold due to budgeting and casting issues.
Now DH has learnt that Atlee is soon to begin working with Allu Arjun for the mass entertainer and the announcement is on its way. An insider has spilled some beans regarding the project and has said that “Yes, Atlee sir’s project with Allu Arjun will go on floors first as others are put on hold. The pre-production work is in full swing and is expected to go on floors by mid-2025.”
“Sir is busy juggling multiple works and its too early to confirm anything but Allu Arjun’s project is more likely to happen before other projects take off. There is a massive expectation from the sir as he is back after Jawan, the biggest blockbuster of 2023. On the other hand, Allu Arjun is coming after Pushpa’s monstrous hit. Audience expectation is sky-high and sir will live up to everyone’s expectations,” concluded the source.
While the details about the project are very scarce, it has been alleged that the makers have locked all the leading cast. While Janhvi Kapoor has been roped to play the love interest of Allu Arjun, Bobby Deol has been considered to play the antagonist in the film. Music will be composed by the budding music sensation Sai Abhyankar and will be jointly produced by Geetha Arts and Sun Pictures.
