Varun Dhawan’s latest offering, Baby John, an official remake of the Kollywood blockbuster Theri, is facing challenges at the box office as the film recorded a sharp fall in Day 2 collections. According to the reports, the movie saw a sharp decline of 65 per cent in its collections and grossed only Rs 4 crore.

Opened to mixed reactions, the movie collected close to Rs 12 crore on its opening day. Helmed by Kalees, the movie also stars Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff in crucial roles. Produced under the Jio Studios, Cine1 Studios, Vipin Agnihotri Films and A for Apple Studios, the music is composed by S Thaman.

The movie is being lauded for its high-octane action sequences, captivating music and strong performances across the board. However, it's Varun Dhawan whose performance is making buzz online.

Positive reviews are steadily rolling in for the film, and word-of-mouth (WOM) is likely to help it gain traction. Varun Dhawan’s fans were ecstatic to see him in a new and exciting role, celebrating the release with loud cheers and dance.
