Bigg Boss is one of the most viewed reality shows in the TV industry and is known for featuring participants often surrounded by drama. With Season 19 premiering on August 24th, speculation about the contestants is running wild. One of the most buzzing names this season is Himanshi Narwal. Reports suggest that the producers are considering bringing on wife of a Pahalgam terror attack victim this season.
Sources suggest that her participation on the show is very high, as makers are keen on featuring her on the show. A resident of Gurugram, she is the widow of Navy Officer Vinay Narwal, who was killed during the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in April 2025, and also pursued her higher studies with Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav.
A news report claims, "Makers want to rope in a few people who would connect with the viewers instantly, and thus there were discussions to get Himanshi Narwal on board for Bigg Boss 19."
Since Elvish Yadav’s entry in Bigg Boss OTT Season 2, each following season has featured at least one contestant linked to him. Whether it was Lovekesh Kataria or Rajat Dalal, participants backed by Elvish and his fanbase have found their way into the show. In one of his vlogs, Elvish Yadav revealed that Himanshi was his college mate.
While there’s no official confirmation yet from either the makers or Himanshi Narwal, the audience will have to wait until the grand premiere to see the final list of contestants.
Himanshi Narwal came into the public eye after a heartbreaking photo of her mourning beside her husband’s body went viral on social media in April 2025. She and her husband, Vinay, were on their honeymoon in Pahalgam, Kashmir, when a terror attack claimed his life.
