The cast of Laapataa Ladies in a chat with DH shared their excitement for being nominated at IIFA at such a young age. Sparsh Shrivastava, who was nominated in two categories urged women to watch his movie as he assured that they will "find themselves" in the film. Meanwhile, Nitanshi Goel who plays Phool Kumari asserted that she would be happy irrespective of who won since she was rooting for the best.

When DH asked Uorfi Javed if attending Met Gala was in her cards, given that what she does on the streets of Mumbai is what people do at the gala, the influencer known for her fashion sense said "everything is on my list".

Pointing out how it feels like a "full circle" that she shot for Bandish Bandits in Jaipur and is now here as a nominee, Aaliya Qureshi, who was also seen with Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan said that her mantra is "whatever happen, happens".

Pratik Gandhi, nominated for Agni said that all those nominated in the digital category are "fabulous actors". The Scam 1992 actor also revealed that next big project will be Gandhi, the first season of which is already done.

Expressing her hope to work with Shreya Ghosal some time in the future, singer Madhubanti Bagchi whose Aaj Ki Raat compelled all her fans to shake a leg, added that she does not make any conscious decision while choosing her music genre because being a classical music student, she loves all genres.

Conveying how "overwhelmed" he was to be at IIFA, singer Anurag Saikia who was nominated for Ishq Hai told DH that he now wishes to try something he has never done before.

Expressing his pride in being a part of 25 years of IIFA, Ranvir Shorey said that he has watched IIFA grow and is here to raise a toast to the next 25.

Hoping something "really nice" comes her way next, actor Sanjeeda Shaikh last seen in Heeramandi who walked the green carpet on March 8, coinciding with Women's Day questioned why do we celebrate it on only one day, and not everyday?

Lauding the OTT platform for helping hidden actors find the space, Sector 36 actor Deepak Dobriyal said that he was rooting for everyone who was nominated because so many talented actors who were not getting any recognition were able to find their voice with the help of OTT. Meanwhile, actor Arif Zakaria who was nominated for his Freedom at Midnight said that he looked forward to winning the award, and appreciated IIFA for being silent brand ambassadors of the film industry.

IIFA awards will be telecasted on March 16, and the first-ever digital IIFA Awards will be streamed on March 30.
