The buzz around Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie Coolie with Lokesh Kanagaraj is reaching new heights as its release date draws near. Following the release of the first single and exclusive stills, the makers set the social media ablaze by unveiling the fresh poster of Aamir Khan. The makers introduced Aamir as 'Dahaa' in the highly anticipated film.

There has been a lot of buzz surrounding Aamir Khan’s involvement in Rajinikanth’s Coolie, with speculation that this could mark the beginning of his participation in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s LCU. Although details about his role are still being kept under wraps, it is rumoured that he will appear for just 10 minutes, delivering a pivotal moment in the film.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie is an action entertainer headlined by Rajinikanth. The film also boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including Nagarjuna Akkineni, Upendra Rao, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, and Sathyaraj in prominent roles.
Coolie is set for a clash with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR's War 2. Producer by Kalanithi Maran under the banner Sun Pictures, Coolie is all set to be released in theatres on August 14, 2025, in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages.
