Pop sensation Ed Sheeran, who is touring India for his much-anticipated concert, visited a barber in Chennai to get a 'champi', a traditional Indian massage. The video was posted by a fan club of the singer, Ed Sheeran HQ, on Instagram and showed him getting a head massage. The clip has gone viral on social media, attracting multiple reactions from netizens.
In the video, Ed Sheeran is seen getting a vigorous head massage from a local masseur with multiple slaps and intense kneading. The massage has left the singer looking both amused and relaxed. While many Indian fans found the moment relatable and nostalgic, British fans were shocked by the 'aggressive' technique.
Sheeran, known for songs such as "Shape of You", "Perfect" and "Thinking Out Loud", is currently on the India leg of 'The Mathematics (+-=÷x) Tour'. The multiple Grammy-winning singer kicked off his six-city tour in India on January 30 in Pune. He performed in Hyderabad on Sunday.
