Revisiting this viral song has sparked a wave of nostalgia. While the trailer races toward record-breaking views, the song is also seeing a huge spike in popularity among fans. Known as one of Tamil cinema's cult hits, the song continues to connect with fans of all ages. It is played at events and parties and enjoyed by people across all generations. The trailer has sent anticipation for the film soaring, creating a frenzy among fans.

A few days post its release, actor and politician Kushboo Sundar — the original face of the 'Oththa Roova' song — reacted to the song’s revival. Speaking to Deccan Herald, Kushboo said, “It’s great to see old songs making a comeback and being appreciated again. Adi has shown his knack for song placement, just like in his earlier films."

“There’s a beautiful trend of reconnecting with classics and reintroducing them to new audiences, and Adi has truly nailed it. I’m also thrilled to see the original track gaining traction once again,” concluded Khushboo.

“The essence of cinema lies in entertaining people. As long as it’s done respectfully—without mocking, demeaning, or hurting anyone’s creative efforts—it’s perfectly fine in my opinion. What matters is not just the inclusion of a song but how powerfully it is used. Adi has done it brilliantly, making it appealing and relevant,” she said when asked about the usage of old classics in modern cinema.

Released on April 4, the Good Bad Ugly has clocked over 35 million views and continues to create ripples on social media.
