New Delhi: Mumbai: Guns N’ Roses, the iconic American hard rock band, would be performing in Mumbai on May 17, returning to India after more than a decade's time.
The Guns N’ Roses will perform at Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai.
The announcements were made on X micro-blogging site.
“We’re comin’ to India. This is going to be special. May 17, Mumbai. Pre-sales are coming soon,” Guns N’ Roses said.
“MUMBAI, ARE YOU READY? We’re bringing the rock & roll storm to Mahalaxmi Racecourse on May 17!,”BookMyShow Live said.
“Kotak Mahindra Bank Pre-Sale: March 17, 12 PM IST – March 19, 12 PM IST. General Sale: March 19, 4 PM IST onwards. Let’s make history together. Grab your tickets & let’s tear it up,” it added.
The American group will be on stage with their full squad Axl Rose (vocals, piano), Duff McKagan (bass) and Slash (lead guitar) will be performing.
Guns N' Roses, known for 1980s chartbusters like 'Sweet Child O' Mine', 'November Rain', 'Paradise City', 'Knockin' on Heaven's Door and Don't Cry', last performed in India in 2012.
