In the fourth installment of Krissh, Hrithik will not just play the lead but will also don the hat of director. This most anticipated movie will be jointly produced by Aditya Chopra and Rakesh Roshan under the banners Yash Raj and Filmkraft Productions.

Confirming the same, Hrithik's father Rakesh Roshan took to his social media account and wrote : "Duggu 25yrs back I launched you as an actor, and today again after 25 yrs you are being launched as a director by two filmmakers Adi Chopra & myself to take forward our most ambitious film #Krrish4.

Wish you all the success in this new avatar with good wishes and blessings! (sic)"

The Krrish franchise, starring Hrithik Roshan, is widely regarded as Bollywood’s trailblazing superhero series, representing one of the industry's most bold and enduring film ventures.

Krrish (2006) and Krrish (2013) stand as two of Bollywood's most daring and long-lasting cinematic ventures after Koi Mil Gaya (2003). All these movies, helmed by Rakesh Roshan and starring Hrithik in the lead, raised the bar of Indian cinema with distinctive storytelling, advanced VFX, and stunning visuals.

Before Hrithik made his spectacular debut as a leading hero with his father Rakesh Roshan's 2000 directorial Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, the actor worked as an AD and had assisted his father in numerous projects, including Khel, Karan Arjun and others.

It is believed that Hrithik will carry forward the legacy and set a new benchmark for Indian cinema both as director and actor in the much-anticipated sequel, Krrish 4.

While the details of the project remain scarce, it is reported that the movie is in the pre-production stage, and it will go on floors in early 2026.
Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan is busy filming War 2, scheduled to release on August 14, 2025, he is also, along with the team, focusing on completing the script for Krrish 4.
