The concert begins, so says its title. But this ‘Kacheri...’ is outrageously off-key. More so it does not soothe or entertain. ‘Kacheri...’, which brings Jiiva after a year’s hiatus, and Poonam, the hit pair of ‘Thenavattu’ is simply for their fans. It’s just an amalgam of crass comedy and mindless action.
Produced by dad R B Choudhary, ‘Kacheri...’ revolves around Jiiva, a do-gooder village simpleton falling for city lass Poonam, who, in turn is being hotly pursued by another beau Chakravarthy. How the triangular caper pans out forms the plot.
