Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan graced a gala event in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, over the weekend. He charmed the audience with his wit and charm as he took the main stage at the Global Village.
During a segment, SRK dropped a major update about his upcoming project and confirmed that he is reuniting with Pathaan director Siddharth Anand for King. The movie is special for SRK as he will share the screen with his daughter Suhana Khan.
A video from the event is doing the rounds where SRK is seen saying, “I am just shooting it. I will be shooting it for a couple of months. My director, Siddharth Anand, is very strict. He made Pathaan also. He has asked me not to reveal what we are doing. I can’t tell you but I can assure you that it will be entertaining. You will enjoy it.”
He was further seen telling the audience, telling the crowd that for the first time any movie will present "Shah Rukh Khan as Shah Rukh Khan King." “The team is working very hard. We are making a great film for everyone.”
While the details of the movie are kept under wraps, the film will be seen with Suhana Khan playing a key role opposite his dad and superstar, Shah Rukh Khan. A complete action entertainer, the movie will see Abhishek Bachchan as an antagonist.
Reports also suggest that the movie will star Munjya hero Abhay Verma and Fahim Fazli in pivotal roles. The screenplay is written by Sujoy Ghosh, Siddharth Anand, Suresh Nair and Sagar Pandya, while Abbas Tyrewala is the dialogue writer. The movie is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix and is planned to release in 2026.
