Ever since the announcement of Ashwin Kumar’s animated series Mahavatar Narsimha, the buzz about the project was making waves on social media, especially with its intriguing posters.
Backed by the two giants, Hombale Films and Kleem Productions, this much anticipated project marks the beginning of the Mahavatar series. This series is set to present the stories of multiple of Lord Vishnu avatars. On the eve of Makar Sankranti, the makers released the teaser which promises a cinematic wonder like never before.
Mahavatar Narsimha narrates the story of faith and hope through Bhakt Prahlad and how Lord Vishnu, in the form of Narsimha, descends to vanquish evil and restore humanity. The makers truly believes this is a story that deserves to be told. As this is a highly vibrant and unique world, the creators decided that an animated film would be the best medium to bring the story to life, allowing them to overcome any limitations in its presentation.
Moreover, this will be Hombale Films' second project exploring lesser-known aspects of Indian culture, following the success of Kantara. With Kantara, they presented the world an untold story of the Kola festival and introduced everyone to the divine culture of the heartlands of India. The film emerged as the biggest sleeper hit that created records and went on to become one of the biggest pan-India films.
Mahavatar Narsimha is directed by Ashwin Kumar and produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai and Chaitanya Desai under the banner of Kleem Productions. In collaboration with Hombale Films, this dynamic partnership aims to deliver a cinematic marvel across various entertainment platforms. With its unmatched visual grandeur, cultural richness, cinematic excellence, and storytelling depth, the film will also be released in 3D and in five Indian languages.
