The 55-year-old was in Phoenix, Arizona when his Maserati bumped the rear end of another driver's car. No one was injured, although both vehicles suffered a little damage, reported TMZ.
It's not the first time Gibson has crashed the V8-powered Quattroporte - he was involved in another crash in Los Angeles in 2010.
The actor was also quite co-operative in exchanging insurance details for the crash.
