Kannada actor-director Upendra collaborates with Tarun Shivappa, producer of films like Choo Mantar and director Aravind Kaushik known for films like Tuglaq and Huliraya.
The film is titled Next Level and will be produced under Tarun Studios banner. The makers released the film's poster on Monday.
It will be a pan-Indian film and will feature actors from Bollywood, Telugu and Tamil, according to a press note.
The team is currently busy with pre-production, and the movie will be shot in Bengaluru.
Upendra will next be seen in the Rajinikanth-starrer Coolie set for release next month.
