Actor Rashmika Mandanna may soon be roped in to play the leading lady opposite Jr NTR in NTR 30, his upcoming film with ace director Trivikram Srinivas. According to several reports, she recently met the 'Wizard of Words' to discuss the project. An official announcement about her joining the cast is likely to be made pretty soon.

NTR 30 is touted to be a pan-India movie with a commercial storyline and marks Tarak's second collaboration with Trivikram. The two had previously teamed up for the action drama Aravinda Sametha, which did well at the box office, and it remains to be seen whether their latest movie lives up to the expectations.

Rashmika, meanwhile, is going through a busy phase on the work front. The 'Kodava Beauty' was last seen in the Kannada film Pogaru, which recently opened to a good response at the box office. She will next be seen in the Karthi-starrer Sulthan, the first film Tamil movie of her career. The 'Karnataka Crush' is also working on the Telugu movie Pushpa, her first film with 'Stylish Star' Allu Arjun. It revolves around the issue of smuggling and reportedly features her in the role of a government official. The biggie is slated to hit the screens in August.

Rashmika is also set to make her Bollywood debut with the spy-thriller Misson Majnu, starring young actor Sidharth Malhotra

The 'Young Tiger', on the other hand, is awaiting the release of SS Rajamouli's magnum opus Rise Roar Revolt (RRR) that features Ram Charan as the parallel lead. It is touted to be bigger than the Baahubali saga will hit the screens on October 13. The cast includes Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Olivia Morris , Ajay Devgn and Samuthirakani. There were talks of Jr NTR collaborating with teaming up with KGF director Prashanth Neel but that did not happen
