Hilton said a passenger found a four-inch knife in a seat pocket and alerted a flight attendant. The attendant called security, and the plane was evacuated at the Los Angeles International Airport Tuesday, The New York Post reported Wednesday citing TMZ.com.
Security swept the plane and eventually determined that the knife was a box-cutting blade that belonged to the plane's crew.
Hilton, 29, had another knife-related close call in August, when a man armed with two large knives unsuccessfully tried to break into her Los Angeles home.
