Hindi (U/A)
Director: Abbas Mustan
Cast: Abhishek Bachchan,
Bipasha Basu, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sonam Kapoor, Vinod Khanna

The movie is about a gang of players who are together to do a robbery.

Charlie (Abhishek Bachchan) is the mastermind, who is on a mission to steal gold worth crores. Victor Dada (Vinod Khanna), role model of Charlie helps him to form a team. His team includes an explosive expert, an illusionist, a hacker, an actor and a glamorous girl.

However, like all predictable scripst, the villain turns out to one of their own.
“Players” is like a children’s movie where the director has killed some actors in the first part but you again see them in the second half. The audience would expect a lot more than the usual old Hindi action flicks.

It is seen that there are too many games inside the big game which confuses the viewers instead of making it interesting.

The film is shot in beautiful locales of Russia and Wellington, but the director couldn’t make the best use of the actors. The director has also included too many (unnecessary) characters which muddles the story some more. Except Sonam Kapoorm all other actors have tried to give their best.

Compared to the script, the songs can be digested - for their limited entertainment value!

By the time the movie reaches interval people would want it to end. Although it is an action movie there is no thrill and suspense – in fact, the script is too long and boring.

However, at some points of the movie the director has tried to put some comedy and make the audience smile. Certainly this is not a kind film the viewers would like to see.

It is in fact a flop game by the players. Not worth spending money at all.
