The ‘Rebel’ star Prabhas, who is currently busy with the shooting of Fauji, has sustained an injury while shooting an action sequence. Reports suggest the actor has suffered an ankle injury and has been advised to rest by doctors. The injury has forced the actor to halt his shoot and other professional engagements. Unfortunately, Prabhas will now miss the grand premiere of Kalki 2898 AD in Japan, where he was set to appear.

Prabhas’ fans in Japan are disappointed with the news, as they missed the opportunity to see their idol in the country. Prabhas was expected to travel to Japan for the very first time to grace the special screening of Kalki 2898 AD, but his injury has halted the plan. However, director Nag Ashwin and other key cast and crew will now lead the promotional activities in Japan.

His ability to play diverse characters in such varied genres—be it sci-fi, action, or drama—cements his status as the undisputed Pan-India Superstar. Prabhas' films are not just box office hits but cultural phenomena, making him a beloved figure among audiences not only in India but across the world.

Kalki 2898 AD is slated for its Japanese premiere on December 18 and will officially release on January 3, 2025, during the Shogatsu festivities marking the Japanese New Year.

On the professional front, Prabhas has an exciting lineup of movies like Salaar 2, Spirit, Hanu Raghavpudi’s project, The RajaSaab, Kalki 2 and two more films with Hombale Films.
