Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to captivate audiences and dominate the global box office. Setting multiple benchmarks, it has become the first Indian film to surpass Rs 1,000 crore worldwide within six days of release.
The film has undoubtedly demonstrated the power of strong content, garnering immense love from audiences across the nation and overseas. With excellent word-of-mouth, the film continues to attract crowds in abundance to theatres. Amidst its triumphant run, the 'Pushpa' team is coming together to thank the audience for their overwhelming support through a press conference in Delhi on December 12.
To celebrate the film's monumental success, the team, including Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, director Sukumar, producers, distributors, and the entire cast and crew, will come together to express their gratitude to the audience. The Pushpa 2 crew will attend a press conference scheduled at a plush hotel on December 12.
Pushpa 2: The Rule opened with a historic box office score of Rs 294 crore gross on day one. It broke the record for the highest opening in the history of Indian cinema, which earlier belonged to SS Rajamouli's RRR (Rs 223.5 crore), followed by Baahubali 2 (Rs 217 crore) and Kalki 2898 AD (Rs 175 crore).
In its Hindi-dubbed version too, the film broke records, netting Rs 72 crore on day one and surpassing the opening day figures of Shah Rukh Khan's 2023 hit Jawan, whose Hindi version had earned around Rs 65 crore on day one.
Pushpa 2: The Rule is directed by Sukumar and stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in key roles. The movie is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings with music on T-Series. The film was released on December 5, 2024.
