'National Crush' Rashmika Mandanna, who was last seen with Nagarjuna and Dhanush in Kuberaa, is all set to take centre stage in Mysaa, a high-octane, female-led action entertainer. Described as an emotional action thriller, Mysa is rooted in the culturally rich and visually captivating world of the Gond tribes. The movie garnered massive attention with its announcement and an eye-catching first-look poster.
On the weekend, the movie was officially launched with a traditional pooja ceremony. The muhurat ceremony was graced by the key members of the project, with film producer Suresh Babu and Hanu Raghavapudi. Principal photography started today in Hyderabad, with Rashmika Mandanna joining the cast from the very first schedule.
Rashmika will be seen in a bold and transformative role, portraying a Gond woman with fierce intensity and emotional depth, a character unlike anything she’s played before.
Backed by Anil Sayyapureddy and Ajay Saipureddy under their banner Unformula Films, Mysaa is being touted to be a large-scale Pan-Indian film made in a robust budget.
While talking about this project, the director Rawindra Pulle said, “Mysaa is a product of two years of hard work. We wanted to get every detail of the world, the aesthetics, the characters and the story right. And now, we are ready to tell this story to the world."
