The much-anticipated trailer premiere of Pawan Kalyan starrer Hari Hara Veera Mallu was cancelled at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad after witnessing an overwhelming response from fans.
This move has disappointed the ardent fans of Pawan Kalyan who were prepping up to celebrate the trailer launch of the power star, who returns to the silver screen after the 2023 film Bro.
A grand event was planned at the iconic single-screen theatre which is famous for its Tollywood fanbase. Massive crowds began to gather to collect the pass for the mega event. In no time, the situation became uncontrollable due to heavy footfall, and police reportedly stepped in to control the crowd. After analysing the situation, the management of Sandhya Theatre decided to call off the trailer launch citing safety concerns.
Earlier, a tragedy struck Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad on December 4, 2024, when a stampede occurred during the premiere of Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa 2. The mishap claimed the life of 35-year-old Revathi and injured her eight-year-old son, Sritej. Following the incident, the theatre management adopted a more cautious approach to celebrity events, ensuring stricter safety protocols are in place.
The 3.1 minute trailer hits the big screens and social media at 11:10 am tomorrow (July 3). According to insider reports, the trailer has peak mass appeal, with audiences expected to be thrilled by Pawan Kalyan’s intense performance, alongside impactful roles by Bobby Deol and Nidhhi Agerwal.
Directed by Krish and AM Jyothi Krishna, AM Rathnam are jointly presenting the movie along with A Dayakar Rao. MM Keeravani has composed the film’s music. Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Sword vs Spirit is scheduled for a worldwide release on July 24.
