The director of this film may pick a bone with the audience for not “understanding” his vision. Suffering from an inability to translate jumbled thoughts into a coherent story, Leykkhan depends on standard formula to bail him out. Lack of homework pulls the whole film down, though the sole redeeming factor could be the dialogues.
Normal situations tend to turn syrupy while those that need to be tightened are cut a huge slack. Neither Niranjan Babu’s camerawork nor the music can make this “gaali”, a “sihigaali”. A prodigal waste.
